The Microchip’s PICkit™ 2 and PICkit™ 3 In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer uses in-circuit debugging logic incorporated into each chip with Flash memory. These products provided a low point of entry for a hardware debugger and programmer. These products have been superceded by the Microchip’s PICkit™ 4 and the ICD product range - see https://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/DevTool to see more information on the latest tools.

- Great Software. I am back in biz. |

- PICkitPlus is excellent! I didn't realise it was the same Microchip program that you'd updated, but that's good, I used it a lot 10 years ago and it is very familiar. I may need to buy some more licenses for our service engineers to install on their laptops. |
TREV |
- A great update of the abandoned standalone Microchip programming software for the PICkit programmers to add support for newer 8-bit device families (the program includes new programming scripts - it's not just an update of the data file to add new devices). |

" It has made the programming of the 8-bit PICs so much easier." You ain't half right, in 15 minutes it's done what in ten days MPLABX is incapable of, thank you very much |
